Changes for 2025

More books, more podcasting, less Patreon

On Sunday, I did a livestream on YouTube (short lecture, Q&A, updates) but wanted to bulletpoint some of changes I’m making moving into 2025.

I’m no longer creating new lessons/classes on Patreon. You can still take the classes I’ve posted over the past three years. Or you can skip the subscription and buy a class. (The Drawing Flats class will finish and be available for sale Jan 1.) I will still be hosting monthly zoom meetups/discussions/Q&A sessions.

People kept asking me to post the audio of my videos as a podcast so I created a Spotify account. Please join me over there; I will be posting audio of previously posted videos but also new content eventually.

Book stuff:

1. Did you know Fashion School in a Book and Design Journal come in e-book or kindle format? I’ve been getting a lot questions about shipping to the far corners of the world. The answer is: depends on what website you order from. But you could play it safe and order the e-book. And you can get it right away instead of waiting for the print edition!

2. I’m obsessed with writing books now. It’s pretty much all I want to do. Should my next book be about pattern making or color theory applied to fashion design? Vote in the poll, please.
