The Seven Year Itch (+my yearly shop sale)
Make hay while the sun shines, celebrate when you can
If I’m living inside the movie “The Seven Year Itch” and I’m the delusional husband character, then my fantasy is having a dependable business partner and no need to post on Instagram ever again. (Instagram is the f*boy of all social media; fight me.)
As I approach my channel’s 7th anniversary, I read that the average lifespan of a creator is five to seven years. Don’t panic, I’m not ready to hang my hat quite yet. I guess that it’s a good thing I consider myself a teacher before a content creator, and I’ll be leaning more into my teaching going forward.
I will never love Instagram but I still absolutely love making longform videos, love making my Patreon class lessons (figure drawing class starts September 1), love speaking at schools. So I’ll still be around, you’re not rid of me yet!
I’m a big believer in celebrating milestones because they bolster you up amidst the stressful times. Come celebrate my anniversary with me!
I’m hosting a 24 hour sale, midnight to midnight, on Friday July 22, Pacific time, at shop.zoehong.com (not available in my etsy store). No minimums, no coupon code, 50% OFF everything.
I’ll be LIVE on YouTube Friday July 22, 9am Pacific! Come chat with me, ask me questions, or just hang out! (YouTube analytics say that’s when most of my viewers are online!)
Thank you for all your support over the years! I absolutely couldn’t have enjoyed this wild ride without you!
